Presray Corporation Overview
The Presray Corporation is proud of its long and distinguished history of designing and fabricating a complete line of watertight doors and barriers, airtight and security, inflatable seals , Pneuma-Grip™ lifting devices, and Pneuma-Seal™ rubber fabrications. Since the 1950's Presray's innovative direction was guided by the stringent demands of the aerospace and nuclear industries respectively. As a result, our broad experience clearly demonstrates that there is no substitute for extensive testing and research.
Presray is also the innovator of DoorDam adjustable and stackable flood protection products. With our continual efforts to supply the most up-to-date flood protection, Presray has consistently met and exceeded the standards of the industry. DoorDam products are modular and designed for small businesses and residential customers who do not need PE calc's or shop drawings.
The Benefits of Vertical Integration
At our New York headquarters all aspects of product realization take place including engineering, rubber compounding and molding, steel and aluminum fabrication, machining, and inspection and testing. Our expertise with fabric reinforced molded rubber seals and metal fabrication ensures that our products will continue to function throughout years of service in abusive environments. Having complete control over all aspects of our product line allows us to fine tune every door to very exacting requirements.
History of Quality at Presray
Back in the 1960's we developed our first format Quality Assurance program based on specification MIL-Q-9858 to satisfy the special needs of our aerospace and defense partners. Then in the 1970's and 80's our program was augmented in accordance with ANSI N45 and 10CFR50 Appendix B to meet the demanding requirements of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Today we steadfastly meet the challenges of the 21st century, from protecting the super clean environment of a semiconductor fabrication plant to enhancing the bio-containment of government virology labs. All of our seals undergo rigorous tests and inspections from the initial compounding stage to the final fit-up, and all of our critical structural and leak path welds are inspected per the ASME code as we continue to focus on product safety.
